The U.S. losing 4-0. Those four goals coming all in the first 36 minutes in a historically poor performance on the eve of the

Gold Cup. Let's hear from the defeated manager, Mauricio Pochitino. Here he is after the game.

I seen in the first half, we play with many players that maybe made some of them made the debut young team from the beginning.

That was my decision and was my fault.

The first half is, all the critics should be, or could be for me, because I think that

was my decision. But in the same time, it was the good intention to provide all the players the

possibility to play and try to compete for a place in the World Cup. But at the same time,

because we received all the players in different level, and we thought that was important

that all field the games and half a minute

but didn't work

and when that doesn't work

to change

and in the half time

we provide a team

you know a different way to play

if an approach and in the second half.

The positive is that we match them and I think was an even, and even game in the second half,

but of course, the feeling from the first half was really bad.
