Good morning everyone and welcome back to another morning with the masters where we devote ourselves to the Lord daily with you. Good morning you guys. We are picking up with day six of our if God is for us celebrating the power of God's grace devotional in the Bible app.

0:25.1

There's a link to that in the description of the podcast if you guys want to follow along with us and as always I'm going to read the scripture and this time I'm going to read the Divo. Let's do it.

0:33.1

The scripture is Romans chapter 8 verses 35 through 39 and it says this can anything ever separate us from Christ's love. Does it mean he no longer loves us if we have trouble or calamity or persecuted or hungry or our

0:50.7

destitute or in danger or threatened with death? As the scripture say for your sake we are killed every day we are being slaughtered like sheep. No despite all these things overwhelming victory is hours through Christ who loved us.

1:06.7

And I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from God's love. Neither death nor life. Neither angels nor demons. Neither our fears.

1:18.7

For today nor are worries about tomorrow not even the powers of hell can separate us from God's love. No power in the sky above or in the earth below indeed nothing and all of creation will ever be able to separate us from the love of God

1:34.7

that is revealed in Christ Jesus our Lord in the devotional titled everlasting love and it says this. Everything that we have been learning has been wrapped up in this divine love.

1:46.7

Every act of God is motivated by his love for us. God's love is the surety of his stain power. His love is everlasting but there are times when we doubt God's love for us.

2:01.7

So Paul asks a series of pointed questions to assure us just how faithful this love is. Can any of these things separate us from the love of Christ?

2:13.7

Can tribulation distress or persecution separate us from the love of Christ? Jesus says to us, I have said these things to you that in me you may have peace in the world you will have tribulation but take heart.

2:29.7

I have overcome the world John 1633 and our troubles and trials we can have peace because we know that God is with us. We know that he is for us and that Jesus gives us his peace.

2:45.7

Can famine or nakedness separate us from the love of Christ? Jesus says if that is how God dresses the grass of the field which is here today and tomorrow is thrown into the fire will he not much more dress us you of little faith.

3:03.7

Matthew 6 verse 30, God provides all of our needs. He doesn't promise us riches but he does promise to take care of us. Neither famine nor poverty can separate us from the love of Christ.

3:18.7

What about danger or sword? Can those things separate us from the love of Christ? A martyr might ask before dying, where are you Lord?

3:26.7

But the Lord will surely answer, I'm right here. It is in answering these questions with Jesus's own words that we come to fully understand the victory cry.

3:39.7

We are more than conquerors. How are we conquerors through him who loved us? We are not conquerors because of our will to succeed or I'm going to read that again.

3:49.7

We are not conquerors because of our own power. We are not conquerors because of our own strength. We are not conquerors because we have faith. We are conquerors because of God's love for us.

4:03.7

Yeah, that's so good. I truly believe that we do come to this point where we feel like when things aren't going our way that God is withholding something or maybe he doesn't love us as much as he used to in this season.

4:18.7

But when you really meditate on these scriptures and you understand that number one, you're not the only one who's ever asked that question or has ever felt that way.

4:27.7

And that's why we have the word of God to lean on and to glean from in those seasons when we do feel like that.

4:35.7

There's questions. I was just talking to a friend who feels like God is withholding right and what an amazing truth that we can hold on to that in Psalms 84 it says that the Lord will withhold no good things.

4:52.7

And so I love going back to all of these truths that are really like laid out here in this devotional when we have those questions and we don't feel like conquerors and we don't feel like God loves us as much because we're not quote unquote getting our way that we can hold on to these truths and know that there is absolutely nothing.
