My name is Clay Newcomb, and I'm the host of the Bear Honey magazine podcast.

I'll also be your host into the world of hunting the icon of North American

wilderness. We'll talk about tactics, gear, conservation, but we'll also bring you into some of the

wildest country on the planet chasing bear.

On the chasing bear. On this episode of the Bear Honey magazine podcast, we're getting back into some tactical

how-to stuff with our good friends at Northwood's bear products.

And we're talking with one of the owners, Colby McReynolds. We're going to

talk about baiting bears. We're going to talk about how to use commercial scents inside

of baiting bears. So you can hear about some of their products but mainly what we're

trying to do is educate people on how to use their scent products because if

you're baiting bear it just makes sense to be using

commercial scents because they put off a more powerful scent profile than basically any

natural base scent that you can have. Granted, there are some great natural sense that you can

use as well. As we get into this, this is a little bit different than what we've been doing.

Again, this is like a tactical podcast, which is what a lot of people want.

I'm kind of a nerd when it comes to tactics, but I'm also a sucker for a good story and just a fun time.

So this is kind of both of those things combined.
