Extravaganza for 2020. Last year, we were able to get the entire team in. This year, alas,

we were not able to do so, mostly because of rock paper

shotgun recording a charity stream in the one available studio. And also people going on vacation

early this year. But we have a few people here on the team. We have, aside from Nadia

myself, we have Eric Van Allen. Hey, hello, I'm back. And also the new addition to the team, somebody who hasn't yet had an

opportunity to be on the podcast. That's Matt Olson. Hi, Matt. Hello, I'm glad to be here.

First timer. Long time. I'm not going to make that joke. It's very overplayed.

And we, last week, we talked about the best RPGs of the year and kind of recap the year and RPGs, picked our favorite, which was Discolysm.

This is the podcast where we kind of talk about all of it.

And so kind of no holds bar, kind of looking back over the years,

an opportunity to talk about some of our favorite games from 2019

heading into the new year.

So I guess the first question that I'm going to kind of pose to you guys is,

how do we think the year went?

Because I think that actually it was a very good year in many ways.

It just wasn't a great year for blockbusters. I think I'd agree with that statement.

Like, it's, there weren't a lot of major first parties in the sense that we just came off of years that had things like Breath of the Wild

and God of War. We've been on kind of a really big blockbuster binge for a while, and it seems

like everybody sort of pushed their big launches out into 2020. That's where like Final Fantasy
