Hello there, welcome to the show. This is The West End, our guest show on the Square Ball.

You'll find it on a Monday and a Friday in your feed. You can watch on YouTube and listen in your podcast app. Guests from across the world of Leeds. You might find lurking in the West Stand. My name is Dan Moyland. With me is Michael Normanton. Hello? Very quick word from NordVPN. VPN is one of those things that sounds more complicated than it is, Michael. You know how to use one, don't you? Just click it. Absolutely. It encrypts your internet connection so that nobody, including your internet service provider or whoever runs the coffee shop, Wi-Fi, or anyone who's been nosy, can see what you're doing online. NordVPN also lets you switch your virtual location, which means if there's a match showing in under the country, for example, that's not available here, or a show that's just dropped in a different region, that you can watch it, and it works on up to 10 devices, Michael.

Phones, laptops, desktops, TVs, buy sticks, all that sort of stuff. Tablets and whatnot. Yeah, the fastest VPN in the world. It won't slow things down. Nord also has a threat protection feature built into it, which blocks malware, trackers and fishing sites. And given the current

state of the internet, that seems like a pretty reasonable thing to her having your armoury.

Thank you. We were deciding to be more sensible there on the read because we get embarrassed when we have new people in. But it's lovely to have you back, Simon. You are back from Indonesia, which when you were in last time you were telling us off air that there's a new gig potentially in the pipeline. Couldn't really speak about it. However, now you can because it's all being locked in and you are coaching. Is it the Indonesian men's national team? Yeah, I'm an assistant coach for them. Came out of the blue, really. Didn't know too much about sort of the head coach, a British lad.

Got an invitation from an agent.

Would have been interesting in having a call and talking about it.

We had a camp against St Kitz and Nevis and Bulgaria.

And it was really good.

Really enjoyed the 12 days experience, totally different and totally new for me,

2:20.5

never worked under anybody else as a head coach or a manager, so I had to bite my tongue a couple

2:24.8

of times, but I managed to get through that space and time.

2:29.0

And hopefully, well, I'm going back on a camp to camp basis.

2:33.1

I think the next one for me will be mid-July till mid-August time, something like that. So something new and really enjoyed it. You were saying that some of the camps like in Bartley and places like that, which it sounds like you're really suffering for your art here. It was hot. Oh, no. But somebody has to do it, I suppose. And off the back of that, I had a bit of a holiday out there
