Welcome to the Audible presented by Trader Joe. I'm Stuart Mandel, joined as always by Bruce Feldman for a

0:21.2

second episode this week. We wanted to do a Thursday episode for two reasons for two pieces of

0:26.3

news. One, Notre Dame has a new athletics director. So we were bringing on our Notre Dame writer

0:31.6

Pete Sampson to discuss that. Also, Bruce, literally while we were recording this, the Big Ten announced the 2024 and 2025 opponents for each team, not dates, but who they're going to play.

0:45.4

And, of course, your eyes immediately turned to USC and UCLA.

0:49.6

0:56.0

their first big 10 schedules are going to be. USC is playing, is hosting, USC is hosting,

Illinois, Iowa, Michigan, and Wisconsin. USC is traveling to Maryland, northwestern.

1:12.0

1:16.5

Penn State, Purdue, and of course across town to UCLA.

1:21.9

And then UCLA is traveling to Indiana, Iowa, Michigan.

1:26.1

That's a big one.

1:27.2

Rutgers. That's a big one. Rutgers.

1:28.3

That's a far one.

1:29.7

And they are hosting Minnesota, Nebraska, northwestern, Ohio State, and USC.

1:36.6

I would hope those empty seat pictures you see of the Rose Bowl every week will not be the case.

1:42.2

They won't be the case, frankly, when Nebraska comes to town, when Ohio State comes

1:45.9

town, certainly USC.

1:47.7

Yeah, I think it's exciting to have some of these, you know, obviously some of these schools

1:52.3

have played before, and some of these big, big 10 schools have certainly played at the

1:57.1

Rose Bowl at the end of the year.
