USC and UCLA have formally now applied to join the big 10 and the conference is expected to vote to add the schools within 24 hours USC and UCLA in the big 10 there's other reports out there and this is kind of been

speculated for years about a super conference that the SEC and big 10 would combine into a super conference like a super team but a super conference and possibly even add more teams

I saw some else it was Brett McMurphy that tweeted earlier and I'm not sure if it was him so I'm not don't quote me on this but don't expect the big 10 to be done just yet it sounds like we're going towards two super conferences in the SEC and the big 10 combining at some point and this just makes no sense to me whatsoever like I get it it's all about money but like trying to wrap my head around USC and UCLA in the big 10 makes absolutely no sense just get rid of conferences at least in college

the big 10 so whatever they negotiate I'm sure there'll be some rules about when USC and UCLA come in

how many years until they get a part of the media rights that was true when the big 10 added Rutgers and

Maryland and those teams like they didn't get a share for a little bit like the first year they were in

or whatever so that has to be worked out it's estimated that each of the teams in the big 10

in this new big 10 with the new media rights deal would get 50 million more dollars per year than if

they stayed in the pack 12 50 million more dollars so that's what I mean by like it makes perfect sense like it

money yeah in a super conference the media rights to a super conference are going to be so much more
