Hello, my co-host, Connor Morissette, Mr. Triple Double himself. Connor, how are we doing today? Doing well. We got a lot of basketball to talk about. We're in the throws of the season. I always say that every week, so here we go. We are in the next number now. USC, you kind of get in the flow going, kind of find out about these teams a little bit. There's a lot of football stuff still going on. But hey, we want to give a little bit of attention to the basketball squads as well. They played some fun games over the weekend at Intuit Dome. You got to go to that one to see the men play Illinois State. They got a 20 point win there. Saw the women play against South Carolina. Did not go as well for them at Crypto.com, but just one of several opportunities they'll have against some big-time competition.

So we're going to jump into all that in just a minute.

But for anyone new listening to the show, the USC Triple Double podcast is part of the

Paris style podcast family shows. The USC Triple Double is a podcast focused on the Trojan men and women of Troy basketball programs. Each week during the season, we'll be breaking down all the latest action for both teams. Looking forward to the upcoming matchups as well, we'll be doing that in the second half of the show because during the season, we typically have a guest from the men or women's team join us. You guys are on this roster that has just kind of been pieces pulled from all over the place, from power conferences, from lower conferences, some high schoolers. I had a no contact tag.

Connery still contacted me personally and made sure he knew USC wanted me bad.

So I took that consideration.

And Mussel's recruiting style, he recruited me really hard. He told me how

much he wanted me and I felt it felt like home. Wow. So to have the no contact tag and then to

go to USC, that must have been quite the pitch. Talk a little bit more about what was said in

those recruiting meetings and why did you pick USC just based on having the no contact and then

choosing LA?

Yeah, in the meetings, Conroy and Must said I can play more my game.

I feel like they can put me at the four and still play my game.

They play aggressive defense.
