I'm in your neck of the woods back east, getting to catch up with some friends and family. and of course staying up to date with everything USC basketball. So we have a few games to talk about.

hanging in there trying to make it through uh I'm not just as cold this cold is not fun I don't

know you're all bundled up over there so I hope you're enjoying this little bit of cold

and you get to go back to sunny California.

I'm looking forward to the Alamo Bowl and some warmer temperatures when we head down to San Antonio.

report that I believe on the peristyle there.

But USC gets an interesting addition in Cam Woods.

I think we should start there.

What did you make of USC going out and adding another element to this team?

I really liked it.

A lot of people complain like, oh, Chad Baker, Missouri is turning 26. Why is he eligible? Well, he is eligible. And, oh, Cam Woods, how can you add someone halfway through the year? Well, he's eligible to be had it halfway through the year. And they brought in a guy who's going to contribute and help. They lost Rodney Rice for the season. So Woods, he's not a direct replacement for Roddy Rice, but he's a ball handler. And we saw what he can do a little bit against UC Santa Cruz, where he had six assists, six rebounds, didn't score. But some of his passing, I thought, looked really good. The more he'll play with this group, the better he'll get. So I really like the addition. It shows that USC is doing everything possible that they can to try to win games. And when you're a fan of a team, isn't that all you can ask for? Do everything in your power to try to win. And that's what the addition of Cam Wood signals to me. Yeah, you can either complain about the rules or you can try to take advantage of them as best you can. And that seems to be what USC is doing here. It was interesting talking to Will Conroy before they made the announcement
