Vince, let's talk about the U.S.

Here on the Irish Breakdown podcast, brought

It's been a hot topic of discussion so far this all season for Notre Dame specifically,

given the social media wars and the comments a couple of years ago from when Chad Bowden left and went

and a recent track record on the field.

But here's why we're talking about again today, folks,

because we've talked about this quite a bit this offseason.

And believe me, I'm never one too shy away from slandering the USC Trojans.

I, unlike some of like the more, I will be nice and say the more experienced members of the Notre Dame fan base,

because I don't want to say like the older, because that because the old people, the old heads. The more experienced members of the Notre Dame fan base have a level of respect for USC, which I completely understand. I, however, in my age group, grew up in the generation where you just do not like USC. Like, you just don't respect them. You don't like them.

You hate their stupid fight song.

You don't like any of it.

Like it's all silly.

So speaking of silly,

USC has not been doing a great job this off season, especially in the social media,

trying to prevent that from them having a bad look overall as a program. But what's frustrating, before we dive into some of the things that they've done,

USC does have potential as a program because there's reasons why, like, older people in the fan base,

like Brian, like you do to a degree, like some of the people,

a lot of the people on the premium message boards and in the daily live shows,

there was a level of respect

for USC because back then it was they would play anyone anywhere, any place, anytime.
