All right, welcome into the Nick Pop podcast.

And, you know, I had some Nebraska football things cooked up for the pod today.

But then a massive news bomb dropped in the afternoon, which has caused me to scrap my initial plans and talk about the news

de jour, which is UCLA and USC leaving the PAC 12 and joining the Big Ten conference beginning

in 2024. So I am taping this. It is June 30th. Is it about 7 o'clock? And the story broke earlier today.

And boy, this thing has moved fast to the point where here we are, you know, about six, seven hours later from when the initial news dropped.

And we already have official announcements from UCLA and USC

that they are joining the Big Ten conference at the start of the 2024-25 season.

Wow.

So this is, I got a lot of thoughts here. This is almost like I just, the second I got the news, I just got on my computer and I treated this almost like it's like my diary. I just like wrote everything that was on my mind here.

And one of the things that I thought of initially was like this is, this is unbelievable and totally believable at the same time.
