The State Department formally notified Congress that it's effectively dissolving USAID and moving some of its functions under its department by July 1st. USAID is a multi-billion dollar agency created by Congress that fought poverty and hunger around the world. The Trump administration accused the agency of mismanaging taxpayer dollars

and funding overseas programs that aren't in U.S. interests.

Closing the agency without congressional approval is expected to draw legal challenges.

This, as a federal appeals court, is allowing the Trump administration to make more cuts to

USAID. Vice President J.D. Vance has made the highest profile case to date for America to control Greenland

during a controversial visit there today. Greenland really matters for the security of the United States.

It's extremely vulnerable right now.

And if the people of Greenland were willing to partner with the United States,

and I think that they ultimately will partner with the United States,

we could make them much more secure, we could do a lot more protection,

and I think they'd fare a lot better economically as well.
