So we thought, hey, maybe this is a good week to instead give you another episode from the sandwich trial over on gavel-gavel. And look, my numbers tell me, not enough folks

are over on gavel gavel checking it out. So this is, of course, US v Dunn. This is the guy who threw

a sandwich at an ice officer. It is so much fun. Now, over on gavel gavel, we just put out episode

four. And we've gotten through, in terms of reenactments, we've heard the

opening statements, we've heard even the first witness on direct, who is victim one himself,

the ICE officer. But over on this feed, we've only heard one episode of this. So I wanted to give

you episode two of USV Dunn. And if you're just an opening arguments listener who's not listening to Gigi,

this also is just a great law episode because Matt breaks down some pretrial stuff going on,

including giving us a deep dive on vindictive prosecution and a few other legal concepts.

So even if you are not wanting to check out gavel-gavel, you still should listen

this episode. It's just a fun time and it's a good legal breakdown. It's a great law episode regardless.

So we're going to set up the pretrial stuff. Now, this is an interesting one because, as we've discussed, this trial went from, it was about three months right before. I mean, this is incredibly fast for federal trialment to trial, or I guess not an indictment, right? Statement of information or something, yeah. Yeah. So we're just going to take a look at the pretrial motions, but there's a particularly interesting motion that was never actually ruled on that I wanted to run by you. It's a motion for selective and vindictive prosecution, and I think you're going to see his point.
