Today, a new deal with South Korea ahead of a Friday deadline, was taking a closer look at Brown University's agreement with the Trump

administration and how Gen Z is responding to the job market with gig work and entrepreneurship.

President Donald Trump said yesterday that the U.S. will charge a 15% tariff on imports from

South Korea down from a threatened 25% as part of a new deal. The arrangement was announced shortly after Trump met with Korean officials at the White House

and ahead of a self-imposed August 1st deadline.

That date tomorrow is when Trump has promised higher tariffs will kick in on U.S. imports from a range of countries.

The negotiations marked an early test for South Korean President Li J. Myeong,

who took office last month.

South Korea agreed to invest $350 billion in the United States in projects selected by Trump

and to purchase $100 billion in energy products. Meanwhile, President Trump announced the U.S.

will impose a 25% tariff on Indian goods starting tomorrow after months of negotiations

over a limited trade agreement between the two nations appeared to fall through.

Ground University has reached an agreement with the Trump administration to restore more than $500 million in federal funding to the school.

The deal announced yesterday came exactly one week after the White House

entered into a separate unprecedented agreement with Columbia University. I caught up with USA Today
