Summary

Over the past year, the U.S. Supreme Court has passed a number of what could be called pro-conservative decisions. Among them were the overturning of Roe v. Wade, the rejection of President Joe Biden’s student loan forgiveness plan, as well as the striking down of affirmative action, which effectively made race-based admissions to college illegal. 🇺🇸 Epoch Times 25¢ Sale: https://ept.ms/RomanSale1

These decisions have reinvigorated the Democrat-led push to “rein in” the Supreme Court. For instance, soon after the Roe v. Wade decision was leaked to the public, the police had to set up a barricade surrounding the Supreme Court building because pro-abortion activists began to file in and protest. Similar situations played out for other decisions as well.

Furthermore, it’s not just the rank-and-file young people who are out there protesting. Many members of Congress have also come out with strong language opposing the current configuration of the U.S. Supreme Court.

minutes after it was first published by Politico, the police had to set up a barricade surrounding

the U.S. Supreme Court building, because pro-abortion activists began to file in and protest.

0:59.2

We had similar situations playing out with the other decisions as well.

1:02.2

Furthermore, it's not just the rank and file young people who are out there protesting

1:05.9

in front of the Supreme Court building and sometimes in front of the Justices' homes.

1:10.2

Many members of Congress have also come out with, you can say, some strong language opposing

1:14.6

the current configuration of the court.

1:16.4

Take a listen.

1:17.4

The Supreme Court is hearing arguments, as you know, for the first major abortion-right

1:23.0

cases since Justices' Kavanaugh and Justices' Gorsuch came to the bench.

1:35.2

I want to tell you, Gorsuch, I want to tell you, Kavanaugh, you have released the whirlwind

1:42.3

and you will pay the price.

1:47.2

Besides just the strong language, Democrats at the federal level have also been attempting

1:58.7

to use various legislative methods to actually take control of the U.S. Supreme Court.
