In this episode, Downhill and Mississippi, I'm thrilled to be back in my home state with

Princeton University professor Eddie Gleaud, who is also a Mississippi native.

Eddie and I will talk to Mike Espy, the former Congressman and Agriculture Secretary,

who is now running for the United States Senate, will ask him about trade, tariffs, taxes,

and what it's like to run for office in the age of Trump.

I am especially happy and excited to be here today with my good friend, Professor Eddie

Gleaud, of Princeton who's from Moss Point.

And also, we welcome the former Secretary of Agriculture Mike Espy, who's running for

Senate in Mississippi.

And we are doing this from Mississippi and actually had a former Cabinet Secretary come down

back roads to our great studio in the middle of nowhere.

Now, I've been out a lot of back roads in Mississippi, so I'm very much at home.

I was Congressman before I became a Cabinet Secretary.

I was a Congressman in the Second District, which was the poorest congressional district
