Summary

It was a great day for Americans at the US Open as Ben Shelton, Frances Tiafoe, Tommy Paul, Taylor Fritz and Coco Gauff all made it through to the second week. Catherine, David and Matt discuss their victories as well as Iga Swiatek’s ruthlessness, another big win for Caroline Wozniacki, Daniil Medvedev’s spectacular aggro and trolling from the night before, defeat for Elena Rybakina, and a late night scare for Novak Djokovic.
