I am glad to have you guys here because as I mentioned to you right before we started,

But first off, what made each of you want to go into the military?

Colonel, I'll start with you.

Well for me it was a family tradition.

We just celebrated the 75th anniversary of D-Day when my father fought in World War

He was a corporal in the United States Army.

He initially started in North Africa, Sicily, Italy and that's where he was wounded.

Run and supplied dispatches.

My older brother was a Marine Infra Truman and Vietnam wounded a case on.

And at the age of 15, my dad challenged me to be the first officer in our family.
