And if all that failed and their story was wrong, they swallowed hard and published a correction. An embarrassing yet humbling check on the press that only added points to their credibility. That was the old world. The old world is dead. “Russian missile attack hits market in Ukraine, kills 16,” read headlines from every major news outlet. Weeks later, once the story had spread into the public consciousness, the New York Times quietly posted an update to the story: “Evidence suggests Ukrainian missile caused market tragedy.” The same happened with the evil Chinese spy balloon (later revealed to be a spy balloon that did no spying), the Nord Stream pipeline, and countless other stories in which the US media shaped the war instead of report on it. Journalist Bryce Greene joins Useful Idiots to shed light on the truth, break down the lies, debunk the corporate media. Subscribe to watch the full episode where Bryce explains the US path to peace (and the lies used to sabotage it), the extent of the corporate lies used to blame the missile strike on Russia, the terrifyingly weird English-speaking Ukrainian spokesperson who wants to “hunt down” Russian propagandists (which is extra scary when we’re constantly labeled as Putin puppets…), and how western media is shaping the Ukraine proxy war against Russia as a proxy for the larger proxy war against China. There’s a lot of lies, so let Bryce Greene be your tour guide through the truth. Learn more about your ad choices. Visit podcastchoices.com/adchoices

Hello, and welcome to Useful Idiots. I'm Katie Halper. I'm Mary Matte. How's it going, Katie?

0:09.8

0:16.5

report. Yep. You got it. You're welcome, everyone. Yeah. Chris. It's crisp. Yeah. We'll be doing

0:22.6

this all year. All year. Yeah. What's your favorite season there? Well, everyone says fall,

0:28.4

and, uh, you know, I'm gonna have to go with the crowd and say, yeah, I like fall too.

0:33.2

I like fall dressing. Like I like the way I dress and fall. I like fall attire. But I actually,

0:39.6

like, summer the most, I get kind of down when it turns into fall. It's a little depressing.

0:44.0

I hear that. Yeah. I didn't know there was such a consensus though around fall.

0:47.3

Oh, everyone says fall because they're like, oh, my fall sweaters and my little fried jackets,

0:51.8

you know, and the leak goes the leaves. Yeah. Yeah. Unless you're living in LA or something.

0:56.8

Right. I'd rather I like greenery more than dead, dried, desiccated leaves though.

1:02.4

Interesting. Yeah. So I'm pushing back on the fall consent. Fair enough. Fair enough. I like it.

1:06.5

It's a new movement. Yeah. But also it's like schools out, follow schools back. Not that I didn't

1:11.3

like school. I just, you know, I liked, I liked freedom. I like making a really strong case.

1:17.8

Yeah. It is a very strong case. I mean, how could you be against freedom? Yeah. Exactly.

1:21.2

All right. I'm never liking fall over again. Yeah. Fall stands for imprisonment and

1:25.1

strengthening and yeah, liberation. Yeah. Exactly. It's treasonous actually to like fall.

1:30.8

How many weather reports are giving you that kind of insight? Yeah. Get philosophical and personal.

1:36.9

Not that many. Yeah. Which is why we invite you to of course support this show. Make it happen.

1:42.7

Make it possible. Give yourself the gift of amazing extra content like extended interviews and

1:48.3

Thursday, throw down your midweek dose of media madness. We also do the absurd arena, which is
