Intelligence is an imperfect business.

If it were precise, it wouldn't be intelligence.

Mike Hayden is famous for saying that.

If it's a fact, it's not not intelligence we deal with the unknown it is

interesting to think about the supporting staff who can actually use all of this

intelligence because Dick Cheney was an avid reader of intelligence for his briefing book, they would include

not only everything the president was getting, but they would have a section that they called

Behind the Tab, absolutely full of more intelligence assessments more raw reporting all of the things that the vice president could possibly be interested in.

I would love to hear you talk about one of your briefing recipients, Mueller, because obviously his name has come back. Oh, Dr. David Pries is a former intelligence officer who worked at the CIA in the State Department during the

Bill Clinton and George W Bush administrations.
