And what does this hold entail?

Well, it means that all immigration applications,

including green cards, including U.S. citizenship processing and the like,

filed by immigrants from these countries are now on pause. No more on hold if you're from one of

Although it is a little bit broader, it's extending to others as well, but especially these ones.

It says this, quote, effective immediately.

This memorandum directs U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services, personnel.
