I'm Mama Jules, and let's discuss the killing

of 23-year-old US senior airman, Roger Fortson.

And you might have seen headlines about this one because there are two

competing narratives out there. So let's just dive in. About 10 days ago, Roger was at his

apartment in Fort Walton Beach, Florida, when at around

4.30 in the afternoon, a deputy knocked on his front door in response to a

disturbance call. Okay, did you catch that?

The deputy is knocking at his door to help intervene in a disturbance call, but he's alone.

Now, Roger was inside the apartment on a FaceTime call with his girlfriend when the Okaloosa deputy knocked.

So here's the first discrepancy in the stories.

The sheriff of Okaloosa has publicly stated that the unnamed deputy knocked on the

correct door. Attorneys representing Rogers family say that the deputy had the wrong

door. Wrong disturbance. Wrong man completely. Well in response to the wrong So that was nearly one week after the shooting.
