A manhunt for suspected gunman Robert Card is still underway after 18 people were killed in a mass shooting in Lewiston, ME. Many people are still sheltering in place as multiple law enforcement agencies comb through the area. After three weeks, all House Republicans voted to elect Rep. Mike Johnson (R-LA) Speaker of the House. Rep. Johnson is criticized for his views on abortion, LGBTQ+ rights, and efforts to overturn the 2020 general election. The Lewiston, ME community is mourning the 18 residents killed in Wednesday’s mass shootings. 0:50.6	And as we heard from the Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin tonight, this U.S. military action,
0:54.8	these defensive strikes that he described them, they do come amid the rising tensions in
0:59.8	that region with a conflict between Israel and Hamas, but often clearly call these attacks
1:05.2	in his words separate and distinct from the ongoing conflict.
1:09.7	The teen Israel and Hamas, he said they do not represent any shift in the U.S. approach
1:14.5	to the conflict.
1:15.5	And the simplest of terms, this effort, it appears with an effort to sort of restore deterrence
