This is real ghost stories online. Every community around the world seems to have an urban legend about a ghost.

If you go down this road at that time of night you're going to see

resurrection Mary or whoever somebody on the side of the road that lingers

typically a female in a whiteish dress gown what have you that has been

slighted or had some sort of trauma happened to her whether she was murdered

whether they lost a child.

You insert the trauma here, and a death, and then you have your local urban legend.

In our next story, we hear about that version of the legend and

small town in India or a young man is out with friends, gets late at night realizes he has to walk home to his village.

But to do so he has to cross the roads where the legend of this mysterious

ghostly woman lurks.

Luckily the man doesn't believe in ghosts.

That makes everything okay. Or does it? Take a listen. So, Oh, This happened to my grandfather when he used to live in South India in a village close to the city that he was from.

He used to be a non-believer in the paranormal back then.

Somewhere in the 1950s, there was a drought. He doesn't remember the exact year.

He was in his early 20s. His village was badly hit by this drought and all the crops died.

They had no other food source in the village. My grandfather's family bought food from a nearby village once every week. My grandfather or one of his siblings went for the food. That particular week it was my grandfather's turn to go and unlike his brothers who went to the nearby village my grandfather usually went to a village which was a bit further.

He used to walk almost for two and a half hours to reach this particular one. He took pain going there since most of his friends

were living there and he used a chance to meet with them. As usual he left in the

morning and reached the village and did all the shopping. Then he went to his friend's place where he had lunch and spent some time and then another

friend came and they also invited him to a newly bought hotel.
