Well, that was a cool start to Smackdown. We saw Cody Rhodes walking around when two dudes who looked just like J&J security came up to him and was like,

ha ha, future corporate champion. Come with us because the Rock, the final boss has made you a lovely little locker room.

So here comes the tease. Maybe Cody can have it all. Oh, so friends, we're going to ups and downs for smack it down.

I just have a couple of housekeeping stuff for you.

One, make sure you buy your ticket for the What Culture Live tour,

as we do follow WWE around when they come over this side of the pond.

And two, after the elimination chamber tomorrow,

I do have to take a week off to sorts of personal stuff.

So don't worry if a non-random ball person presents ups and downs.

And yes, I know this is the first time in three years that I've done this, which is not big

and not clever, don't do it, but I wanted to let you know.

It does mean that, you know, it won't be an official ups and downs tally because no one

has the finger of power but me. That's a dumb thing to say,

but let's up those downs. When Smackdown kicked off properly and who came out in their hometown,

it was Trish Stradis. Fans really got behind her, of course, and she got emotional here,

when I think Trish thought she time travelled, because she was like, wait a minute, I'm here, the Rock is here, Lillian Garcia is

here, what flabbing year is it? Stratus even pointed to a little girl on the crown with her dad

was all like, ha ha ha, I bet you had a Trist Stratus poster on your wall. I was like, Trish,

you don't know that. Maybe he preferred Lita. It really didn't get super nice though because Stratz talked about the fact that at the Elimination Chamber, it'll be the first time her kids see her wrestle.

That's what professional wrestling is all about.

When she was like, oh man, should we bring out the best person ever, who I'm definitely here
