So I think AJ Stiles may be retiring pro wrestling this weekend, but at the same time maybe he's just leaving WWE. There are a few things he said on last night's episode of Raw that made me go, wait a minute. But I want to say Bravo to AJ Stiles and W.W.E for making me so confused. They are either leaning into this super duper heavy to get us all emotion, be like, oh my gosh, AJ Stiles is retiring, or he's actually going to retire. And I can't handle either one of these.

Well, I feel better on Monday, of course, my brain does know. Because let's not forget, not only is A.J. Stiles one of the best professional wrestlers ever, but if you like modern pro wrestling, he is one of the reasons. He walked around, he opened some doors. He was a game changer. It's so hard to explain today because you need to be around in the early 2000s, but the first time you saw him, you were like, what the flub is that? That doesn't make any sense because he was doing things that nobody else was doing. So just in case this is the last raw ups and downs where we can talk about AJ Stiles. He's one of the goats, he's all time, and once more. I just want to say congratulations for totally confusing me. I have no idea. So was AJ Stars the kicked off raw and he totally disagree with what I just said because he's not going to lose at the Royal Rumble and it doesn't matter what plans Gunther May have. He's going to whoop that guy's ass and he's probably going to win a world title or do something else. So he did talk about the fact that he will be done in 2026 regardless, but he's not going to go out, just the ring general wants him to go out. He saw what John Cena did in 2025, so why can't As Stiles do that in 2026? The issue being, if you actually do go through the last year's worth of AJ Stiles' matches, especially at Night of Champions or Crown Draw, whatever the flub it was, when John Cena read that piece of paper out and got the ring announcer to do so. Well, I think we may have secretly been on the AJ Star's retirement tour, and we're only just realising it, like an episode of Black Mirror. What really got me is that at one point he said there's lots of wrestlers from around the world in different locker rooms that I'd like to face. So there is a small chance, I guess,

and who knows how big it is, that he may leave WWE, do some stuff in TNA and maybe even pops up in AEW. Given that it is AJ Stiles, who's essentially a streetfire world warrior at one point, I don't think anybody would mind. And listen, if you want to dream, if you dare to dream, maybe even does something in New Japan.

Of course, you do run the risk.

If you do that, having a big emotional exit at the Royal Rumble, then you just pop up again. But again, we only have one life. I don't think we need to worry about a nerd. I can't believe we did that. And also, is anybody going to get mad? if we got, for example, AJ Stiles versus Kenny Omega, of course you're not, and once again.

That's Mad Fantasy booking, but he said it not me. He also mentioned that he does have plans to be world champion once again when CM Punk interrupted. So we have learned something about CM Punk. He sits there during Raw just in case anybody is going to say anything. I mean, he was out here so damn fast, it's not like he was sitting there lacing his boots.

Now, Punk said they've been doing this for 20 years, they've been friends, they've been enemies, which was well documented on the internet, but these days it's all about respect, but he doesn't understand why AJ Stiles is doing, the stakes are too high. And frankly Stiles was like, well, my friend, that actually sounds like you don't believe I can do it.

And once again, I am going to beat him, and CM Park was like, no, my friend, that actually sounds like you don't believe I can do it.

When essentially, C.N. Punk was like, well, we can have a big old fight. And you know what? I did sound going to be a fighting champion. So we're going to put AJ Stiles versus C.N. Punk main event on this show. And I started doing the dance of joy. Now don't worry about logic here, because what the flub was the main event going to be if these two didn't do this, but thank goodness they did. But also, it once again dies into the Royal Rumble retirement. Loads of people like, well, we can't possibly have AJ Stars retire until we see the CN Punk match in WWE, which has never been done before in that promotion. Well, spoiler, you just got it. I just thought this was brilliant though and it got me excited and that's what we watched wrestling to be entertained. So it kind of knew there was going to be a disqualification or some kind of schmose because neither of these guys were going to lose but it got me pumped and I wanted to see it regardless because even though they have fought a few times outside of WWE to get it inside, You were told somebody that in 2005, they would have punched you right in your face and you would have deserved it too. It's getting in and up. I mean, sometimes we are living in dreamland. We went right to some tag action after this too because it was definitely the care Eoskeye and Rea, Rippert be taken on the Judgment Day and the Judgment Day lost again. So if I was going to make a prediction, which is basically my job, I think the Day of Judgment are not long for this world. They're not going to die, but I think they're going to break up. It kind of made me laugh because, of course, Stephanie the Care kept going for the devil's kiss, whereas Roxanne Perez kept going for interference and distractions, and that is basically their signature moves, and because the judgment are heels, anytime they could screw over the baby

faces they did, the E. Sky got a hot tag and Rea Ripley got a super duper hot tag, because that's what we do in the modern day. You don't just get one hot tag, get two hot tags. We want to be specific, one is a lukewarm tag and then there's a hot tag. Got it? Good. Now of course, Stephanie really helps Raquel Rodriguez at one point she dove onto her because she can't be doing with that noise. When Ria Ripley decided, oh, good day, mate, I'm going to go for a rip tide. When Roxanne Perez tagged in, that was kind of a blind tag. And that tied into Saturday's main event.
