Hello! Yep, you've got me for ups and down today. Sorry about that, but Simon Miller is enjoying a well-earned week off, so he has inexplicably handed the finger of power to the one true journalist in wrestling, the OTJ, so I'm here to take you through the Go Home Elimination Chamber episode of Monday Night Rule. Without further ado, let's up those downs.

And of course, this isn't just the Elimination Chamber, go home episode of Monday Night Roar. It is a tribute to AJ Stiles, and we start

the show with Michael Cole and Corey Graves in the ring, set to talk about the phenomenal one.

But they are immediately interrupted by the man who retired him, Gunther, who calls this a disgrace. He says, why are you celebrating a loser like AJ Stiles? It's probably because the people here like losers, like Stiles and Sina and Goldberg. All men who I've retired, by the way, you should be celebrating someone like me, he says. Adam Pierce, having none of this comes out and says, no, no, no, you're not ruining tonight. Get out of the ring. Gunther says, all right, I will leave, but not because you're telling me to, because this is a disgrace and I don't want any more part of it. But he can't help himself but torn the crowd one last time as he goes to leave because Atlanta were not exactly best pleased to see Gunther, but in doing so, he is jumped from behind by Dragon Lee,

who attacks him in the aisle and then jumps him again as they go backstage,

and they are just separated long enough for Gunther to have a stare down with another

WCPW legend in Cody Rhodes. He comes out to have his say about AJ Stiles,

but then he is interrupted by the vision. They hate Georgia as well.

Austin theory, not a fan of Atlanta. They're not a fan of his, to be perfectly honest, but they're there to say, what are you doing here, Cody? Why do you even care about elimination chamber? You're going to get your ass kicked because Bronson Reed's going to win this qualifier and go on to win the elimination chamber. And Cody Road says, are you sure about that? and brings out his mate Jay Uso. Yeat!

Now, I get it.

This was a promo train, but can I shock you?

I quite like promo trains, particularly because the moment you heard this was going to be

an AJ Star's tribute episode, you knew Gunther had to be involved.

And it wasn't just him coming out to piss on everybody's chips.

It is seemingly setting something up for Gunther at WrestleMania.

I'm not sure what that is right now, whether it be Brock Lesnar, who will get to a little bit later on,

or in my opinion, something via Dragon Lee that may lead us to Gunther versus Ray Mysterio at WrestleMania.

Not saying that I want Ray to retire, but nevertheless, I had fun with this segment.

A good start to the show, it gets an up.
