| 0:00.0 | So we went and did it again, like Brittany Spears, with the Battle Royal for AEW Revolution, started during the pre-show, but can you believe it, they didn't finish the time. So the pay-view started properly, these guys just continued to punch people in the face. Because why would they care, man? They were trying to win the national title. I forgot. Also, like my friends, and one to ups and downs, the only wrestling of you show you need. This is going to be the shortest intro ever because this damn show went on so long. Some people, some sages have told us that it's still going on depending where you do live in the world. So let's take the finger of power and let's up those downs or basically review all the wrestling's revolution show. But yes, that bad rule thing did make all the sense in the world because guess who the last two people were? It was Ricochet and Jack Perry. They've been feuding for a while and when they were mucking around on the ring apron, Jack Perry went, ha ha ha, I've got power in my legs. And he wrapped them around, ricochet's bald head and he threw him to the outside. Ricochet then had a breakdown. Jack Perry had just won that championship. and I liked it. And I actually thought because this show was going to be 47 hours, 922 minutes long, it was just nice that somebody won a championship, not in a singles match. And now you can continue that feud as well, although I would probably put the full stop on it, as soon as you can, because you've been going a while, I'm just going to give it an up. |
| 1:11.0 | Sometimes you don't need to overthink things, especially for people like me because I'm stupid. We then had FTR vs the Young Bucks, the AW tag team titles, and I'm just going to say it as clear as I can. I really do think the Young Bucks and FTR are two of the best tag teams ever. Like we took the rockers from back in the day or we took like Arnandulli from back in the day, and we just evolved them up the two nine like Pokemon, and they all had special entrances here, like the Young Bucks came out with their family, although FDR came out wearing Celtics jerseys. That made me laugh, because again, if you want to go old school with your heat, that's how you do it. The box made sure to bust out some super kicks early because they love that. |
| 1:45.5 | At one point, poor Matt Jackson got thrown right into Alamedanounce table. And it looked absolutely horrendous. And this is just one of those matches that you do have to watch. Because towards the back end of it, it was just you go, I go, we all go. What I absolutely love about FTR versus Young Bucks matches is that the Young Bucks approach tag team wrestling in a very specific way and so do Cash and Dax. And when you take all of that and you put it in your science tube, my gosh, do you get a good experiment? And we got blood during this. Dax at one point, he was really like a stuffed pig. Also made sure that Malachi, the other Young Bucks brother, got his revenge too, |
| 2:17.7 | because FTR did try to kill him a few weeks ago, |
| 2:20.0 | and he threw a drink in Dax Harwood's face and then Casuala went for a dive, and he went into his tag team partner. And I did quite like this because the whole set up kind of was telling you, well, look, we are in the Young Bucks''s hometown, kind of, but not really. you know what I'm talking about, they're definitely going to win |
| 2:33.6 | and they didn't. |
| 2:35.8 | It was this really good one, two, three as well on Nick Jackson. kind of, but not really. You know what I'm talking about? They're definitely going to win and they didn't. |
| 2:35.9 | It was really good one, two, three as well on Nick Jackson after he hit it at the shatter |
| 2:39.2 | machine and a spike pile driver, I think. But he got his thought on the ropes. The referee was |
| 2:42.9 | like, no, no, we can't continue. And yes, FTR also hit their own version of the BTE trigger |
| 2:48.2 | and Nick Jackson kicked out at one. Now take that information, put it in your brain. We are going to talk about it later. Fans were also going crazy for this, especially after the young bikes hit the BTE trigger of their own and they got the Meltzer driver. And when Dex Hartwood kicked out of the one-two, I genuinely think there were people in that audience that were totally shocked. It also made the poor Nick Jackson eventually was all alone and he got hit with an avalanche-shadow machine after a bunch of other moves too and FTR beat the young bucks. This genuinely once again made me go, well I was not expecting that. But it's one of those matches where the performance and the drama and the emotion is so damn good. It doesn't actually matter who wins or loses, especially because right after this, Tony Khan went Reddit. Because the lights went out, which just happens in professional wrestling for no real reason, but my gosh, do I love it. And revenge came up on the screen, but the R, certainly looked like the rated R's superstar logo, and it was, because here came Adam Copeland. He screamed with his kind of long hair, but not really. When Christian Cage's music hit, because he's the asshole of the team, he slipped in from behind. He took out FTR and Adam Copeland did the same. And just to add a little bit back for you, a buck to use the appropriate terms, just as Edge and Christian, I always call that by accident, were looking at these tag team titles. Who appeared behind them? It was the young buck. So if this isn't a tease that maybe we're going to do TLC 49, whatever the flub it would be, or at least the variation between these three duos, I don't know what we're doing, but it's just fun, is it? I mean, what is better than a wrestling return? I mean, nothing. Some of you may be saying sex, but I bet when you go on the internet, you type in best rest of returns ever, then sure. You probably watch porn. What? But it was just such a wild ride and it was so damn fun. Don't forget this was essentially the first proper match on this damn pay-per-view. I am just going to give it an up. If I watch things to have fun, bingo. Tony Storm versus Marina Shafir was up next and of course the rules here were everybody is banned from ringside. Shouldn't that be the rule for every single match? I mean, these wrestling promoters, they're crazy. I really enjoyed this as well though, mostly because Marina Shafir absolutely kicked the crap out of Tony Storm. I think this was the best that Marina has ever looked, but also Tony is a beloved baby face, so she had to fight from underneath. So it's just classic wrestling. You don't always need to rewrite the rule book. There's a lot of biting as well. I think Tony bit Marina Shafir in the foot because of course Marie doesn't wear shoes. So later on it looked like Tony was going to hit a bunch of moves. Well, Marina bit her back. |
| 5:05.9 | I was like, man, diss a lot of biting. |
| 5:19.1 | We better not like have a biting match. That'd be absolutely ridiculous. Also, I don't really know how you do it. At one point as well, Marina was all like, man. Come on, bring all those sweet chick music. So Tony Storm brought three of them and hit the Storm Zero. but Ranger Fear kicked out of that as well. |
| 5:20.7 | When she went for the mother's milk, |
| 5:22.5 | Tony Storm kind of raped at her eyes, |
| 5:24.0 | when she went for the big pressure, |
| 5:54.2 | which is essentially the most devastating move. In all of sports, it take the surprise roll-up, but can you believe it, she got the one, two, three. Now, you would imagine that would be the story of the day, but it absolutely isn't. because it was Tony had walked up the aisle away and kind of fell down because she had got her ass whooped, who just appeared in the ring with no pomp, no circumstance. I think it took a second for everyone to realize who it was, but it was flipping Ronda Rousey. And of course, she's friends with Marina Shafir, and she's got her big MMA comeback later in the year, which is I guess why we have done this. |
| 5:57.2 | But she told Tony to come back to the ring, and then all of a sudden the useless wrestlers are currently separating them. So, Schiafeyer stuck in there, and she pops Tony Storm right in the face. So yeah, I mean, John Mocksey then came up for his match, and even he gave Ronda Rousey a look. So I can only imagine we're probably going to do some kind of a tag team match. |
| 6:10.8 | Rhonda didn't get the All Elite graphics, |
| 6:12.4 | so it's probably going to be a one and done or maybe a two and done. So she can promote this fight, but I hadn't heard a peep about this. And imagine you hadn't either. There wasn't even a rumor. There wasn't even like a carrier pigeon with a note. This genuinely took me by surprise. But I think if you tie it into the overall AEW revolution |
| 6:28.3 | vibe, for lack of a better term, there was just so many surprises on this card, and it did make it feel like a big deal, so we have to wait and see. I have no idea how he used Roderowski in AW, and yes, the fans boot the ship out of her. But again, she did team up with Marina that is a here, although I don't think that's why it happened, but I am going to give it it up. Like I say, |
| 6:47.0 | really good match, solid, solid stuff. And afterwards, I was desperate to talk to people about this. Look into my face, I'm a nerd. We just mentioned John Boxey, though, because it was time for his, this match can go on forever title match against Dekeshda. It's just brilliant. What do I even say to you? De Keshda is going to be a proper main eventer one day. Jormoxi already is there. He's at the heart and soul of AEW. Don Callis family didn't actually do anything here which kind of surprised me. I know it would have been against the rules, as we've already talked about. No wrestlers care about the rules. You should watch this, you should enjoy it. It felt like a fight. It felt like two people that want to do with this continental title. I taught it as brilliant. We also got more blood during this and John Moxie actually licked it off to Keshe's arm at one point. I was like, that was disgusting. It's like, who came up with that? They also absolutely smashed each other with lariots |
