So AW Dynamite started with Roos going crazy because he is finally getting a world title match and he has decided he is willing to die in the ring. I was like, Rooch, don't do that. Even if you do lose, you can just come again win a bunch of matches that has literally been your story. When M. Jeff walked in, he gave him a slap and given that our world title match was going to be our first bout. I actually thought it was a pretty good way to start. Also, like friends, the only professional wrestling review show you need. I mean, while you would need a professional wrestling review show, I don't know, but I have watched professional wrestling, so you don't have to, and essentially you know the deal by now. We're going to give the good bits and up and we're going to give the bad bits of down. And actually, I think AW Dynamites on a bit of a tear right now there's lots to enjoy

0:38.3

as for this first match it was utterly ridiculous it was kind of weird because before we got

0:44.7

to the whole thing Renee Beckett was talking to Roos for the second time it's like my gosh you really

0:48.9

do enjoy having a chat when Andrade walked in his like oh man Roos you got to go out there and win

0:53.9

this world championship to prove if anybody's ever been told you can't do it, you can go and do it. And then Roos went out there and he didn't do it. Whoops. He also learned that this match is going to be no countout. So I started looking around my house, like what? Where did that come from? Because it was kind of crazy. But I think basically AW did this so that these two guys could absolutely murder each other.

1:12.8

And yes, of course, when MJF came to the ring, he was taking the Mick out of Rish's Mexican heritage, and good grieved to that piss off Roush. Hangman also made an ounce of Justin Roberts say, oh, by the way, we're in Hangman-Annam Page territory, and don't forget that schmuck can ever challenge for the World Championship again. And in that moment I stared off into the distance, I said to myself, I think I've just figured out why and how MGF is losing that belt. MGF then spat in Rush's face and amazingly I am going to talk to you about spitting later because for some reason this episode of A.W. Dynamo was obsessed with it, when Rousse got a camera cable, and he tried to kill MJF, which is

1:45.1

interesting, because he also talked about death during the opening segment, and the ref was like, Roush, my dear boy, you've made a terrible mistake. While I'm not going to count you out, I will disqualify you, and then he never disqualified him. What are you going to do? I mentioned it as well, MGF threw Rooch's face into an exposed Tia of the Turnbuckle, so we got blood as well.

2:03.3

And again, this was the first match of Dynamics. him. What are you going to do? I mentioned as well, MGF threw Rush's face into an exposed T in the Turnbuckle, so we got

2:02.2

blood as well. And again, this was the first match of Dynamite where they just went absolutely crazy, you should go and watch it, it is very good. And when Roush went for the bullhorns and crashed in the barricade and MGF gave them a flipping tombstone on the rubble, I was like, This is nuts, man.

2:17.1

This is why I don't understand why people get mad.

2:19.4

When you are told you're going to get a free world title match on your television show. Who possibly couldn't enjoy this? It kind of felt like a pay-per-view. There was also a twist before all this as well, because the only was MGF all screwed up from Risch absolutely destroying him, but Rousse had a bad arm after an arm bar from Maxwell Jacob Freeman,

4:14.5

when the referee decided, no, no, no, no, these review can carry on. We need to bring a doctor down here. The doctor was like, that's right, we are canceling the match. And Justin Roberts even said, oh, I'm sorry, friends, we can't continue when Roos had batted the referee. Now look, don't get me wrong, this is the best best to get seen in my life. I laughed out loud. But what is the deal with doctors and trainers in AEW? Like one guy told Will Osprey a few weeks ago, you can't do this, he did it anyway. Now you've got trainers and doctors actually saying we are calling the match off. And because Rush attacked a company employee, apparently the match can continue. I just don't understand this purpose of this or what it served, other than the fact it was badass. It was badass, I understand that. If somebody came up with this idea in the back, I'd get everyone going, oh, man, that would be great. But it also made absolutely no sense. I'm just going to give it a minor down. I'm going to kind of wrap in the no-countout thing too. It was kind of done just because we could do it, which is fine, but it's also crazy. Actually, while we are here as well, I'm actually going to throw another justification for that down, so you can take all these pieces and put them together. Because at one point during this, the commentary was also saying, isn't it interesting? The MJF chose Roos over Mark Briscoe. And I was like, we established this last week. He didn't really choose. Everybody made it clear that Rush had won so many matches recently. There was no way that MGF was going to be able to turn this down, whereas Mark Briscoe, well, he's coming back not after some losses, but he's not really been on a winning streak. So it didn't make much sense to me. So yeah, there's just like three triangles of stuff and they all become a down. We've already talked about a down, but wanted to talk about that bit too. But don't worry about that at all, though, because again, it was such a good match and towards the end, yes, MGF, of all the moves applied the Label lock. And because Rush hadn't got his eight hours, eventually he did go to sleep, but of course on the way. Not only was he insulting Maxwell, but he also flipped him off. Again, I was like, Rush, I wouldn't have done that. You probably could have conserved a little bit more energy. Of course, MGF was going to finish Rush off after this, but out came Mark Brisco to make the save. This was the worst plan ever, because Maxwell just realized, well, you do have a penis, and he thumped him in it.

4:31.7

It also meant the conglomeration had to come out to stop him as well, so they must have been furious. They were probably in the back just hanging out playing Nintendo, and then were like, oh my gosh, we told Mark that plan was never going to work. Let's go help him. It was such a crazy match though, and again, Rusch just proved that he did want to make him the world champion at some point with the right build.

4:48.4

You could totally get away with it. I am giving it

4:51.0

and up and then this damn Mark Briscoe man, he went and cut a promo of a lifetime. Before that

4:57.5

as well though he had a match with Leo Rush and my gosh this was so damn fun and what a couple

5:02.2

of characters AEW has here and I do think Leo Rush's new Blackheart gimmick is a lesson to anybody coming up right now or anybody that is on TV. If you do come up with an idea, just pull the trigger because good grief, it's so entertaining. And fucking weird. He kind of got set up as well because Leo Rush was kind of just sneaking around the conglomeration, who treated him like a T-Rex.

5:23.3

They were like, man, if we don't move, he can't see you.

5:25.0

And yes, you know the deal here.

5:36.4

Leo Rush goes 100 miles an hour, and it's just so good at what he does. Mark Briscoe is a brilliant professional wrestler. So they just took all their moves. they had a whale of a time, and that energy came out the screen and I had a whirl of a time too.

5:39.3

But at one point as well, Mark Briscoe even saw a sign in the crowd that said,

5:39.3

Throw him here, so he threw Leo Rush in that direction. I guess Leo's big mistake is he kept going for that springboard stun a thing of a jig that he does, which is a good move. I've actually taken it in progress for wrestling. You can check that out on Hooked on Wrestling TV, when eventually he went for another one.
