So some quick housekeeping before we do get into AEW Dynamite today.

One, I am sorry, ups and downs is so late.

Somebody may have got stuck in Wales, that would have been me. And two, yes, look how ridiculous this edit is. But due to the late arrival, I'm just going to have to get it done as quick as I can. But I do apologise. But listen, we are a couple of weeks away from the forbidden door, which means AEW did have to confirm some matches. One of them is probably going to be Tomasso Chamba versus Chris Jericho. Now known as just Jericho, he lost his name. Let's up those downs. But yes, basically much like Tomasa Champa has been doing, he said, oh hi, Tony Chivani, you should tell me that I am better than Jericho. It's quite clearly I have confidence issues. and out came Jericho and said, ha ha, my name's Jericho, and I'm better than you, Tommy.

Everyone started to chant Tommy, because of course his name is Tomaso. And then Tommy was like, not even my mother calls me Tommy. And then we got more Tommy. Found good. Okay. Eventually Jericho got serious, though, because he's like, oh man, don't you get in my face and while we haven't actually prepped anything here or kind of signed off on the match, at least I don't think so, I'd imagine we are going to do it at a forbidden door. And here's the deal. Here's how I feel about it. Everything up to this point, I was quite enjoying, and I want to see Jericho versus Tomaso Champa, because never in my wildest dreams. And I think that I would see that outside of W. But I think this is one of those occasions where you take a baseball bat and you go for the swing and you just don't land it in the way that you intended, or at least not for me. That doesn't mean since Jericho came back, he hasn't been doing very, very good work. And I think Tomaso Champ has jumped at AEW as an inspired choice, but I am going to give it a down. Again, nothing terrible here, but they tried some jokes,

and for whatever reason the jokes didn't land with me, but what can you do? There are 52 weeks of television every single year. You cannot expect to go, I'm going to like or hate everything. If you are doing that, you're probably grifting, but again, I'm sure they'll come up with something next week to carry on from this and then we do get to the pay-per-view. I just can't see a world

where Jericho and Champa isn't a good match, but I do think Tomasso Champa should win, and we probably shouldn't copy what we did do with Rickache, because, you know, you want to keep things different, so that makes it intriguing. I am going to give it a down. It didn't work for me. When we cut to one of our first segments with the Don Callis family, and basically I'm up for you as best as I can,

Kevin Knight is super happy to be a part of the group, and Andrade is not happy that Kevin Knight is super happy to be part of the group, because Andrani wants a world title shop, but he can just tell that Don Callis is favouring his brand new toy, and maybe Mr. Drankilo is going to get screwed over, but that would be fine, because the Don Callis family basically works like one in and one out. Andrade quite clearly don't want to be there anyway, so wouldn't surprise me if Posed have been indoor, we'd do Andre versus Kevin Dice. We've got John Moxie versus Shane Taylor and man, did I enjoy this fight? Mostly, because just really like Shane Taylor, and best this

John Moxley, he sold his ass off for this guy, but that's the only word he should have done, because Shane Taylor is an absolute beast of a man. And even though Mox doesn't come across like a psychopath, sometimes I think you just need to take somebody's size and say, you're going to squish him, so squish him he did. They've been doing a lot on other AEW-related shows as well, like Collision,

and they're always down in the Ring of Honor too, and they do have a story going on here, which we did tie in. I understand this sort of was built off the back of what did happen last week, but also reminded me there is such a massive cast of character's ATAW that I would like to see more of, one of which is Shane Taylor and his promotional group.

I guess we can call it that.

Although he is the leader of said promotional group, and he weren't at last because basically at the very last second when it looked like he was doomed, Moxie was able to get the stomp. He choked out Shane Taylor, because as always, it's not matter how big you are, if your brain loses oxygen, you're probably going to die. die, There's no probably about it. You definitely will. And afterwards, not only did the death riders come to the ring, but so did Shane Taylor promotions. And given that Shane Taylor promotions, or the STP started this, well, they chased off the death riders. I'm so, well, they're definitely baby faces now. Even more so, because this was Boxey's hometown, and even though he stood tall

in the match, in terms of the aftermath, he got pumped. And yes, like I say as well, even though they were standing tall, Lee Moriarty didn't really get involved in this beat down, because the story has been down on collision or Ring of Honor, one of the two, I can't remember now, it's all merged into one in my brain that maybe he's not long for this world.

That means he's going to die.

It means he's going to leave STP rather soon. But you can probably use this too tight in. I just like Shane Taylor. I enjoyed this. It felt different. Give it it up. There you've got a big old video for Mercedes-Bunay who said, I am going to win the Owen Hart Cup tournament and get my championship back. Actually, you know, she's never won the World Championship. You know what I'm talking about here, but she probably will be on that trajectory, and arguably she probably should win it at all in. Well, yes, it was back to the Don Callis family. Because Donovan was all like, oh my gosh, I love you, Kevin Knight, and Kevin Knight came up going, oh my gosh, I'm so great right now. And in fact, I'm so damn good.

Everybody in the back should be respecting me, even though they are a bunch of goobers. And therefore, MJF, you know why I did turn heel.
