| 0:00.0 | So AEW Dynamite this week started with the Death Riders and John Moxie going to Will Osprey and say, stop playing Grabbass, it's time to get serious. When it turned out, he was actually talking to Daniel Garcia and Wheeler Utah because they had a tag team title match against Adam Copeland and Christian Case. Now listen, I like exhibition matches or matches that come out of nowhere, but this one was too crazy. I can't even remember the last time those two guys teamed together. I thought I'd made it up in my head. I thought I'd done a bunch of drugs and I just created this in my brain. I'm just going to give it a mini-down. It just confused me, man. There's a little bit two plus two equals potato. And look, I want Adam Cohn in a Christian Cage to fight everybody from the previous or the next generation, I should say, because it's just super duper-whooper fun, but just a teeny tiny bit of justification would have been good when Moxley sat down with Osprey and may as well have gone, listen, dude, you are going to win that world championship and eventually somebody's going to screw you over, it's going to be me. He basically said though that a hard decision will be coming down the line. When that does happen, Will Osprey should not hesitate. |
| 0:56.1 | And I am totally fine with this. |
| 0:57.3 | I'm totally good with it because that's what you want. |
| 1:00.5 | In many ways, given what happened with Kevin Knight and Kenny Omega later, |
| 1:04.0 | John Moxley is poisoning the mind of Will Osprey, but he hasn't realized it yet |
| 1:08.4 | when, of course, he's going to do something terrible and we'll be like no i can't believe you killed my friend or whatever's going to go down but it's good and it also means after will does win that belt he has a built-in narrative so after that part thumbs also like my friends and welcome to ups and downs the only pro wrestling review show you do need we always remember that wrestling is the most important, the least important things, |
| 1:28.4 | but I'll also tell you what I liked and what I didn't like, and I do that with the finger of power. It's nice and simple, but as always, remember, there is so much crazier on the internet these days. Somebody else can like something, and you can think it was poop, and then we could all go skip in a forest. But it was right into Adam Copeland, the Christian case, defending the tag team titles against Wheeler Uter and Danny Garcia, and you're going to be shocked here. You may want to sit down before I do say this, but the tag team champions retain their belts. I know it's crazy. It was actually really good, though, and I tell you, we should actually do more with Wheeler and Deuteron Danny Garcia as a tag team. Like it's not like the tag team belts in AEW aren't popped up as a big deal and they have good chemistry, but I also think it allows them to kind of step out from the background of the death riders. So yeah, let's do more of them and let's do it fast. Christian Cage, of course, cheated here. He pretended to the referee that somebody was playing around with teams of the turnb when he just whined with a uter, right in the penis when they did that awesome pop-up spear for the one, two, three. I'm not trying to rag on anybody here, but my personal favourite bit is that the Young Bucks were watching on, and I don't care what anybody says, if they weren't wearing new inspired gear that I'm seeing what I want to see, I think Kofofi Kingston and Xavier Woods are going to be in soon, and I tell you this, my friends, it makes me very, very excited. The dogs in Claudio Castiglini then ran in to beat up Adam Copeland and Christian Cage, when the bang bang gang turned up to make the save, because of course Adam Copeland and Jay White still have this relationship. but as we've seen over the last couple of weeks, Christian is not happy with this at all. And after David Finney tried to use the shalele, and it was Jay White that chased him off, Christian saw him with that weapon, and he probably thought two things. One, why do you have it to begin with? You are a professional wrestler and you're not Irish, and as wrestling has taught us, only Irish people use the shalele, but also, I think you were going to whack me with that. So yeah, ipso facto, Christian don't trust Jay. It's just kind of ironic, because Christian Cage's real name is Jay. Now, Cage kind of stormed off after this for Alan Copeland did celebrate with his new best friend, so it was perfectly fine, although after Dynamite, do you know who they challenged for redemption? Claudio Castignoli and Pact? So I guess we're doing that too. And listen, it's kind of hard to get too upset about this because of course I want to see that match. It just truly came out of nowhere, but the match was good and the aftermath was good. Clearly something also is going to go down with Jay White here. As far as I'm |
| 3:40.9 | concerned, should be probably turning heel in around about four months, giving it up. We then saw Sheida beating Harley Cameron on collision when we were also told that Harley may be out for a while, as I hope she is okay. When we also learned that on this week's collision, Sheida is going to defend that TBS title again because she'd take it on Queen Amanata. So she may be a heel, but she's a fighting champion. |
| 3:58.8 | He also then cut to Andrade, who was on a mother fucking boat, and he basically said, I want to win as many championships as possible, but given the Don Callas family, how given me a path to Mark Davis, maybe I'll take his belt first. He was off the mother fucking boat, and he was back with René Piquette in the arena which was quite the strange cut and essentially look, Tadda, what do I have? Where's I to get this from? And it was the dynamite diamond ring which I'm going to assume that Will Osprey must have given it, given that he did steal it from MGF last week. And once again, Andrade talked about going through the Don Callis family and eventually becoming the world champion. So he's going to have to build himself like a Mortal Kombat Tower because there's so many people in the Doncalis family otherwise he's going to forget. Renan then somehow teleported across the building because she was now interviewing the conglomeration. This also made me laugh. They basically went, do you know what we have forgotten to talk about recently? The fact that we are trios champions when when the demand, who were literally right here, they walked in and said, well, do you know how many people are in this group? Three, maybe we should have a match. Lee Johnson and Blake Christian then beat up the conglomeration, because apparently Ricochet had said the demand won't attack you, but these two guys aren't in the demand yet, so maybe they are going to be recruited. And this also felt like a little bit of assault on the senses. It really did feel like somebody woke up and went, oh no, the trios. We forgot to do stuff with the trios titles. I enjoyed it, and I'm going to like all of this, and the matches will be good, but I am going to give it a down. Once again, I just think we can make sure all these |
| 5:21.1 | championship belts feel more relevant rather than vanishing into the sea than coming up like a monster. |
| 5:27.5 | When Andrade did indeed face Jake Dahl after the pathway Don Callis has put out before him, |
| 5:32.2 | and this Andrade man, I would argue that throughout all of his runs in WW and AW, |
| 5:36.7 | this is the time he has had the most momentum. I am genuinely excited where it is going to end up, and no matter who the world champion is, when he eventually does go for that belt, if Andrade did become the guy, I don't think I would hate it at all. I wouldn't put it look like Andrade was going to wear the dynamite ring as well. He just put it on his finger, and the referee didn't seem to care. And this Jake Dorr, he is one hell of a hoss because he was throwing Andrade around when really he got to the end of the match. He made a mistake. He tried to do the boss man slam. And D'Raddy disin wiggling and jiggling. He hit him with the back elbow. He scored in the DM. He got the one, two, three. So now he gets Mark Davis at the pay-per-view. It's a tale as old as time itself. |
| 6:12.8 | Mark Davis somehow turned up from nowhere as well, which is when Andrade put on the ring, and man, Mark Davis must be terrified of jewelry because that guy legged it. I just enjoy this for what it is, and it's actually kind of interesting because you would presume that Andrade wins at the pay-per-view, but Mark Davis hasn't |
| 6:27.5 | held that championship for that long. And again, if Andrade's major goal is to take out the Don Callis family and win a World Belt, maybe you could come up with something here where he's not victorious on that night, but down the line he is going to win the big one. So yeah, it may be a little bit figly-a-pigoddy, which is perfectly fine. I'm just going to give it an up. Andrade's returned to AEW and he just found his lane. If we get this right, it's going to be good. When we got our big Kenny Omega is our brand new AEWO champion video when he came to the rig. I don't care what anybody says. If you want to sit down and continue to have the biggest argument, who is the biggest star in AW, I'll join in because it is fun, but I really do think the answer is Kenneth Omega. The box interrupted instantly and turned heel on Kenny. Of course, I'm joking, I didn't do that, but they were like, why, why Omega? Are you still carrying around the triple B version of this title? That thing stinks. So here's the classic version. |
| 7:17.9 | And Kenny and Megan did the dance of joy. And it's kind of weird that the young bucks took a week to do this, but why not do it on TV? And Megan then admitted it's been so long since he has been the world champion, he can't even count the days. Although that's not true, a calendar will help you out with that if you really wanted to do it when he went full on face, because he was like it wasn't the belief in myself. |
| 7:35.0 | It was the belief from my friends and family that has brought me to this moment. And given that AEW All In is just around the corner, do you know who's going to walk into that event? The best Kenny and Megan you've ever seen. I tell you, it worked. I was pumped. We'll ask pray than interrupted because why wouldn't a friend do that to another friend to take away from their big celebration? |
| 7:52.5 | And it even said to the young Box, oh hi Matt and Nick, remember when I screwed you out your EVP ship last year? But I'm glad you have landed on your feet, but for now if you could step aside, I need to talk to Kenny Amager when Will too was just like, oh my gosh, I love you, Kenny Omega. You're so great, you're the best person ever. |
| 8:24.4 | Go ahead, please have a hunk. He even talked about the fact that Omega was basically his hero, and whether it was New Japan or AEW, he's always inspired Will Ossbray. So even though it is great that he has found the best bout machine version of himself again, William is not happy being number two, which is why come Wembley, who's going to take the title, or at the same time, please remember we're friends. That was kind of the running thread through this. It was like, here's a threat, but also I love you. You can still come round for D. He also compared both of them to Goku and Vegeta, mate, as he said. And that has caused the right fuss online, but man, let him say whatever the flubby wants to say. There's nothing wrong with making a nerd reference, and just really long they were going to shake hands, who came out to once again interrupt the day? Like this was a Monday Night Raw segment from 2019. It was Kevin Knight. Now he got right in Kenny Omega's face and said, listen, dude, I was promised the world title shot from MJF, and I almost had a meltdown. I was like, why would Kenny Omega grant this? What does he care? This is why Kenny Omega was the best. He literally said, yeah. That was Maxwell Jacob Friedman. You do understand I'm another person. There is no reason I need to give this to you other than the fact that I'm a pretty nice guy. Amager admitted he did want to fight Kevin Knight though, because ever since he laid eyes on him, oh my gosh, he's seen the talent. |
| 9:15.3 | The only real issue being you had to sell all that out to join the Don Callis family. And look, I am Kenny Omega. I've done the same thing as well, so I'm not going to be a hypocrite, but I also know that Don Calis is not going to help you, so damn it, you need to leave him. Even compared it to MGF in the sense that that at least MGF would come out here and defend the title when he said he was going to, |
| 9:33.0 | and sort of did it by himself. |
| 9:47.9 | And ultimately, Kevin Knight, if you would like me to sum it in headline form, do not be Dong Callis' bitch. Now that he said the word bitch, you know the deal, it's super serious. He also went Star Wars here and was all like, oh, Kevin Knight, I know there's goodness still in your heart. |
