I laugh down loud at the start of this week's episode of AEW Dynamite because Orange Cassidy was the first person to come to the ring and usually ringing out to Justin Roberts says the whole, as if he doesn't care, but this time with all the gust of the world, he went from wherever, as if wherever is the greatest place in the world and if you win the Super Bowl, you want to go there like Disneyland, which means I'm going there right now.

Also along my friends, and yes, indeed, welcome to Ups or Downs for AEW Dynamite,

the only rest of you show you need because one, I shall watch wrestling so you don't have to,

and two, I'm not going to grift.

I should have said that.

There goes everybody, but also this was fright like dynamite, which means it was Halloween.

So I have my own costume too. I'm like a luchador, but my hood is up, mostly because that's all the tools I had at my disposal. Should we review a wrestling show? Yes, let's give the good bits and up and the bad bits are down. This is hurting my face, let's go. Our first match was super fun as well because Orange Cassidy was teamed with Derby Allen to take on the Death riders.

I'm a bit worried about Danny Garcia. He has picked the worst possible time to join the riders of death because they just keep going down and down and down.

But saying that they could be like the judgment day in WWE. I have a feeling we may have a big switcheroo in the Death Rider soon and maybe that will allow Danny Garcia to get a little bit of a promotion. Either way, this was for under Tornado tag team rules, so it was totally crazy, but I thought to myself, you know what, in terms of starting a wrestling show and making sure we can all plug in? Thumbs up. Brian Danielson was also super happy that everyone got to fight the whole time

because he despises Wheeler Uta so much. He was like, oh baby, now he can just get punched

in the face over and over again. I very much do enjoy Brian on commentary. He just basically

spends all of his time putting everybody else over, but he never forgets the stories,

man after my own heart. Dobby must have heard that too because he then then smacked Wheeler Yuta with a chair, and of course later on we did that really cool thing, when the camera wasn't really focused on Alan, he just came zooming in with the coffin drop. And then later, he hit another one on Wheeler Yuta, and, you know, I think that was meant to be a one to ool, and Danny Garcia broke up

the count, but actually Will's had to kick out. Even the commentators were like, ha ha, don't worry

about it. But it doesn't happen, man, mistakes happen. It's live professional wrestling. We also got a

bunch of dives that put at least two on the dive counter and everybody was going through tables,

like flipping Willie Yuta splash Orange Cassidy through one at one point. But again, the story ever since the last pay-per-view is the downfall of the Death Riders. They don't know what they're doing, mostly because their leader John Moxley has become a big old scaredy catties. So after Orange had taken out Daniel using another table, Willie Yuta got put in the sharpshooter. It's almost as if Darbyan has adopted that as his new finish, and he did have to tap out, which meant the baby faces were going to win. But there was more to this later too, and it could rhyme with Rud and Futs. She said that it sounded terrible. But yeah, honestly, let's say you happen to sit down and watch this episode of Dynamite, and you felt a bit like, oh man, I'm so lethargic right now. This would have put you right in the mood, giving it up. We then saw Hook arrive at the building when somebody in the background was dressed at the stay puffed marshmallow man. And of course, if you've been watching AW for a long old time, that made you feel warm and fuzzy in your tum-tum. And Hook was already because he is going to be in the number one contender match later for the world title. And of course he wants to go after Samoa Joe because man, I used to be in your opportunity group and then I found out you were lying. You also do have to give this a down. I like Hook. I don't understand some of the criticisms that do get thrown his way. Not everybody has to be the best wrestler ever, but how the flab can you justify him being a number one contender match? I mean, he basically hasn't done anything lately, apart from hang out with Eddie Kingston, which is cool. We all want to hang out with Eddie Kingston. Hopefully you take my point, giving it a mini down. The world still turns. René Piquette then found Don Callis as well, and he is having a family summit later. I was like, this is the worst family of all time. You're meant to do this on a Sunday at home, not drag your family, full of its 42,769 members all the way to live TV. But this is when he saw the young bucks and he called them over. He is trying to add more people to his group because he was like, oh, hi, Matt and Nick, look what I can do for you. And to be fair, he did give them one hell of an entrance. He was doing the big hype job on the microphone, and they had their old music. And also, there was no funny stuff. Well, to hazard, I guess. I don't think they're going to join the Don Callis family, and actually this is the slow start with them teaming back up with Kenny Omega. It was always going to happen. Speaking of callbacks as well, when Matt and Nick were going to the ring, they too looked at the Staypuff marshmallow man, and that match we did years and years ago is one of my favorites to AW's ever done because it is so funny. When we just got to the most insane tag team match, it was the Young Bucks, taken on FTR, taken on JetSpeed, taken on the Jurassic Express because, of course, they had all fought on collision. So now it was trying to time determine who were the number one contender for the tag team titles would be. And this is how you know the AW tag team scene is in a good place. I was like, you know what? Any of them can win, and I will be a happy panda. As for the match, just go and watch it. Listen, I understand this style is going to be for everyone, as I say every single week. But the timing, the talent, the craziness, the madness, the sheer, my gosh, what's going on, they are great performers. He also had nonsense because Jack Perry gave his knife to Brian Danielson at the start, and Brian was like, well, I'm going to need this because Stokely Hathaway has joined us on commentary. I'm going to put a one on the dive counter and just give you a little bit of a PSA.

Somebody hands you a potential murder weapon.

Don't say, thank good as I have this, because that guy may need a stamina.

We then just got arm drags, which doesn't sound that exciting, but they were going at 100 miles per hour.
