CM Punk is a brilliant professional wrestler, even if he's not your guy. I don't think you can deny him.

I mean, just look at how people respond to him even today. Remember that Australian tour when a fan broke down?

Because they had been waiting to see CM Punk for 19 years. That doesn't just happen. You've got to have done something.

Of course, it was all kicked back into gear in 2021 when

CM Punk did join AEW. Honestly, one a moment. No one ever expected CM to ever return to

wrestling and yet here we were. Absence truly does make the heart grow thunder. Given AEW is past the

fallout from Seattle from Seattle, though, we thought we could cover it, especially because, as I

just said, time heals or

wounds. It's really important to remember the good that CN Punk did over there as well. I mean,

he was involved in a feud of the year. You know, sometimes it just seems to make sense to document

this stuff because who knows what we may need in the future. Of course, it all starts back on the

27th January 2014 when

CM Punk left WWE and the story breaking was huge because it happened one day after the Royal

Rumble. Not sure why that added to the shock but it did. The short version is punk didn't feel

like he was being used properly as a top guy, especially because he lost the Rock, he lost the

Undertaker and he'd lost to Brock Lesnar in one

calendar year. These were guys that weren't always going to be on Raw the next day,

so what was CM Punk meant to do with his character long term, he kept on losing.

Punk also felt as if he was broken down and not being given the time needed off to recover,

and essentially he just didn't love pro wrestling anymore. The straw that seemed when he broke the camel's back was the pitch, WrestleMania 30 match with Triple H. WW. We saw that as an olive branch. C.M. Punk disagreed. He needed a win over the game in 2011 and that never came. So why should he be pumped up about that now? Bintzaman at first
