Hey guys, it's Michael Miller, Upper Room. We are so grateful that you tune in. We're hopping into a couple of

weeks series that I'll be leading on the Uproom Discourse. So if you're not familiar with the

upper room discourse, it's really John 13 through 17, but I'm going to focus on the middle chapters,

14, 15 15 and 16.

I'm going to look at Jesus' final words to his disciples.

And I really believe there's keys for us in the last days, but to sustain our hearts for the pressures that we're facing culturally, especially with what's happening geopolitically,

with the war in the Middle East, and then also with the

shakings that are happening in the American church right now. My belief is that Jesus was

preparing his disciples to endure. And there's some key revelations for our hearts that if we're not equipped

with, we will lose heart. And so Jesus has purchased all that we need, not only to sustain us,

but to actually empower us to live victoriously and as overcomers in this world. So he ends John 1633 with that to take hard or take courage for I've overcome the world.

So may you be empowered and walk in greater measures of freedom as a disciple of Jesus.
