All right, Brian, defense.

And similar to the offensive side, we had five keys to victory on defense.

And I have a feeling that we're going to be on the same page on all five of these.

But we're going to rattle them off.

We're going to talk through where we are at and why we graded them the way that we did. And the first one that they had, we had, was shut down the run

game. So, Brian.

Minus. Yep. I mean, and there's a lot of reasons for it, travel. Let's just kind of dive into it. Number one is

the defensive line got whipped. I mean, they got whipped last night. I mean, Let's just kind of dive into it. Number one is the defensive line got whipped.

I mean, they got whipped last night. I mean, there's just, there's no two ways about it.

They got whipped. There's a play here, play there, but they played really poorly.

The linebackers played poorly. Now, I put that more on coaching than I do the linebackers,

because they were not allowed to play their game,

which is a downhill aggressive attacking style of play. They weren't allowed to play that last night,

Trev. Tackling was bad. And the game plan was bad. Like there was a play, Trev, where they,

where Ohio State had trips left, but like a trips left wing, meaning like the tight end was like in a wing

position. The running back was to the trip side and then you had Will Howard.

And Notre Dame bumped down to an odd front where they kicked Bryant Young or was it,

was it Bryce Young or was it RJ Obin? It was one of those two. Bumps inside in like a five technique. So the

tight end's got like an easy block and leverage. They have a nose and then a four eye. And then

juniors now playing outside to the open side where the running back and the tight end are both

opposite him. And then they just run power right at it. And you're just like, that's about as

easy to look for power as you're ever going to have.
