The next part of our show, Brian, on the Irish Breakdown podcast presented by Fanduil, is we are going to do our keys to victory revisited.

And we're going to go through the offensive keys.

We're going to go through the defensive keys and the different things that you had put out prior to the game in how Notre Dame is going to be victorious. And I can, you know, spoiler alert, they didn't hit a lot of these. I just want to throw that out there. Why they're 0 and 1. Yeah, yeah, this is a very good reason as to why they're 0 and 1. But we are going to go through them. We're going to give you guys some detail as to why they did or did not hit each key and all of that.

So let's just jump right in, Brian.

Let's go with the offense first.

And, of course, your very classic first key to victory is start fast offensively.

And I can safely say that really did not occur.

I don't do this to like, okay, it's just a simple key and you always got to do it.

I've said I will continue to do this as the number one key for offense until they start

doing this consistently.

On a regular basis.

That's why we continue.

And they just don't. Yeah, they don't. And starting fast is not getting like a touchdown at the beginning of the game and then not scoring again until late the second quarter. That's not a fast start. A fast start is you're jumping on a team 17 to nothing after by the end of your third, you know, your third possession. That's jumping on a team. and Notre Dame did not do that in this game, obviously.

And what did it do?

It allowed Miami's confidence to build.

You could see the facial expressions of Notre Dame players as more mistakes happened.

They got more visibly frustrated and it allowed that Miami crowd to just stay ramped up for 60 minutes.

And everything that could potentially go wrong with a slow start did go wrong.

Missing third down opportunities, turning the ball over, putting them in good spots.

Like it all went wrong.
