Hello and welcome once again to History Dweeps. I'm Tim and today's show is about, this is October.

It is the month of Halloween. So we've got some kind of creepy topics this month. And today's topic is on Edward Allen Poe, of course,

famous writer and critic who died a very mysterious death. And we're going to talk about that

before we do. Let me introduce our panel. To my left, we have the very lovely and vivacious

brandy. How's it going, Brandy? It's going great, Tim. How are you? I am doing well. Are you happy that it's October and almost Halloween? I am. I love Halloween. I know you do. This is a busy time for the devil. Yeah, it's a busy month for Satan. I got things to do, kids to visit.

It's the one time of a year that scaring kids is appropriate. Right. You kind of celebrate all

year round in that aspect. I do. Yeah, I do. And of course, joining Brandi and I, as always,

is a very distinguished, honorable avant-garde, I would say.

I don't think that means what you think it means. Colonel Charles Beauregard, Hawkwater is the

third, affectionately known as the Southern gentleman. How are you, Colonel? Couldn't be better,

My youngest is up in Chicago with his brothers.
