Hello, this is Graham Cook and I want to start this episode today with a question.

What if grace gives us an entirely new way to perceive God

ourselves and life around us.

Welcome to our continuing devotional mentoring series in the nature of freedom.

We're exploring Letter 5 on God's Empower in Grace.

And today we'll be discovering a new lens of Grace.

We're focusing on the last paragraph of page 51 and the first two paragraphs of

page 52 in the book. And we're looking at what grace is and what it isn't.

Sometimes our learning is really about unlearning.

Our past experiences and religious thinking gave us an initial definition of God and

grace that you know may or may not be true the way we see things the way we think about what we are seeing and the language that we use to describe

who God is and who we are becoming, it's all changing because we're growing up into all things in Christ.

So old perceptions are going to be challenged as we grow and develop and as we go into a higher place of

walking with God. So all of us are in the process of having a spiritual lens change
