Hey everyone, John Favreau here. It's been a while since you heard from me here on the wilderness feed.

Love the wilderness. I've loved the last four seasons, especially getting to talk to voters.

And we'll have some announcements about what's next for the wilderness in a bit.

But the good news is on this feed, there's going to be a brand new show from Crooked that I think you're going to love.

It's called Runaway Country with Alex Wagner.

Think of Runaway Country as it's a bit of a cousin to the wilderness with Alex talking to voters on the ground and sharing real stories of people experiencing this political moment firsthand, paired with conversations with some of the smartest minds in politics to put it all in context.

As soon as I heard about Alex's show and she started telling us about what she wanted to do, I instantly thought, oh, this sounds like a better version of the wilderness.

And I'm really excited because Alex is brilliant.

She has a wonderful way of interviewing people and talking to people and sort of like getting at their stories and what drives them.

And so I'm very excited for the show.

I think you're going to love it.

It's not glib, coastal elite, notes from Trump country type of show.

You're going to hear reactions from regular people across the spectrum, incisive analysis from Alex, plus reporting from local journalists on the ground.

Because that should inform how the rest of us think about what's going on, what's actually happening on the ground.
