Folks, I took this week off to travel back to the U.S. for the holidays and spend time with family,

so I don't have an episode today. I plan to have one next week. However, I do have about a

species episode length worth of new content available. It's just not on this platform.

So last week, I started posting on TikTok and YouTube shorts. The links are in the show description.

TikTok is where I seem to have found my feet. I've only put up 16 videos there, each last than a minute long.

But already, these videos are more popular than this podcast has ever been.

The 15 minutes I've put out over there have been viewed more times than all the thousands of

minutes of species combined have been listened to. Now, I've been podcasting since I was like 20. I've been on

TikTok for about a week. I still haven't even downloaded the app.

I'm using the website.

And I'm already better known as a TikToker than a podcaster.

I'm very grateful for this, but there is something absurd about that.

The content isn't graphic or anything, but it is aimed at adults. It's on my academic expertise,

which happens to be human mating behavior from an evolutionary perspective, which I've occasionally

broached on this show. I'll talk to you again on species on Christmas Day. You, the people who have
