Marlour. It feels weird to talk about sports that aren't related to

I'm sure people have heard a lot about Kobe, but we are an SEC football podcast

and we are going to talk about some different SEC things today.

But real quick off the top, I mean,

this is a story that obviously, it transc sports it transcends regions I mean pop culture

all that stuff you were in California this weekend interestingly enough like literally

just got back to be a

older recording's podcast but just where like where were you like kind of

when you heard all this stuff go down because I was gonna say like I when I got like the text saying that Kobe died.

It was from a friend who you know I didn't want to say that he falls for stuff like that

but you assume that okay this is just like this is

some made up thing yeah I was at the UC Berkeley bookstore actually like in

in Berkeley we just walked and toured the campus at Cal and somebody like my friend

texted me and it was actually it's kind of the opposite of that because it's like my

group of friends like Rich and Jeff and those guys they they usually they'll see and hear stuff and then they'll do the logical thing which is like wait to see it's verified and they're like I don't know if it's real like you know team's he's going on reporting it so then of course I get on

Twitter and I see the team's e thing and I see like the kind of you know what we talked

about all fair like the rush to immediately you know be the first one to say

report it or whatever like the r I think and I saw the team's thing. I don't know if it was just me being like
