suspended?

Fired?

A podcaster for having a debate with a colleague on a messaging platform into office as to

whether and when it is ever appropriate for a white person to use the N-word in discussing

racial issues.

Fired for having a debate and a discussion and told that it's not proper for white people

even to debate this issue.

You're going to hear why that's just wrong under this way.

Sensation regarding matters of race is becoming worse and worse and worse.

Yesterday we discussed two adjunct professors who were fired from a very distinguished, very

top law school, Georgetown Law School, for having a discussion on Zoom, a private discussion

regarding grades and African-Americans and bemoaning the fact that African-Americans don't

do as well as white counterparts in grading.

They were fired.

One was actually fired.

The other was pressured to resign because of a discussion about the issue and an admission

by the teacher that she felt terrible about it that it drove her crazy and that she had

all kinds of difficulties and she maybe hoped we can do better and she got fired.

Well, today the news comes out, a New York Times report, that Slate magazine, which is known

for covering controversial issues and controversial ways, has now indefinitely suspended, a euphemism

for fired, indefinitely suspended one of its major podcasters for debating with colleagues

...
