NFC, baby, did your team do well in free agency?

Friday we hit the AFC side of things.

Now we're going to look at all the free agency moves.

On the other side, we're going to start out with the

dallas cowboys sam howell obviously back up money giovante williams re-signs a three-year deal

d n sam williams re signing a one-year deal. Their big move is they got Edge,

Rashon Gary, acquired in a trade with the Green Bay Packers in exchange for our 2027 fourth-round

pick. That is a very good discount. D. Lyman, Otito Ogbonia signs a one-year $3 million contract,

cornerback Kobe Durant, a signed a free agency deal for one year,

and they got two safeties, Jalen Thompson on a three-year deal

with the maximum of $36 million, which is not so bad.

They really needed to help there, and then safety PJ Locke signs a one year five million dollar deal.

They hammered at their biggest problem. They brought in, they brought back a running back.

They at least got George Pickens in for another year, which is almost better than having him

signed because he can compete still and not just get lazy off a contract.

Me and you've talked about that on a previous show we just said together. And then on top of that, they got a lot of defense. Yeah. I mean, and you got to keep in mind, too, this was a team that was in on the Max Crosby sweepstakes too before that deal happened with Baltimore and then eventually fell out. This was one of the teams that I think a lot of people felt like there was going to be some ripple effects for because they made that Gary trade as a consolation prize because they missed out on Crosby. So it's going to be interesting to see how they continue to address this. I think this is a team that still could use another edge rusher. I think they could use a linebacker on this defense as well. And they could definitely be a team that looks at defensive tackle too. Javante Williams coming back. That's big for me on the offensive side of the ball because I thought he played really well. This was the best case scenario for Javante. I thought it worked. Why not run it back? And they ended up getting the money that made it work overall. So this is definitely a team that still's probably going to need to go get some stuff at defense in the NFL draft.

You could even use like a cornerback to replace the Trevin Diggs departure that they had earlier last off season as well.

Trevon Diggs is borderline addition by subtraction, how poorly he played, but you are 100% correct.
