Hey there, folks.

It is Thursday, May 28th, and we have a significant update in the case of Lynette Hooker,

the missing Michigan woman, missing after she fell off a dinghy in the Bahamas.

Well, there is a renewed effort, a new search to find her body, because it turns out

authorities might have been looking in the wrong spot.

You know, the spot her husband told them to look.

And with that, welcome to this episode of Amy and T.J. Robs, I don't want to overstate.

I'm not going too, too far here, am I? When I say, this is the most significant investigative

update we have had in this case. Oh, without a doubt. I think the, we knew that the U.S.

Coast Guard was continuing to investigate. They had not stopped their investigation

into whether or not Brian Hooker bared any response or bore any responsibility to the disappearance

of his wife. But they had stopped searching. They had exhaustively searched the areas where

Brian Hooker told investigators and authorities that his wife fell overboard.

If you recall, he even printed out a map and made markings of where the boat was, where she

fell overboard, where his boat ended up, he ended up being able to paddle it to, and he gave

this all to the Bahamian authorities in the Coast Guard.

Turns out his GPS, his electronic devices aren't matching what he told police.

No. And this is where we are, folks, with this investigation that we're just getting from the update from the Coast Guard. The Coast Guard has now asked for permission from the Bahamian authorities to come

and send dive teams to go into their waters and look in a different spot. This is new. This is

just happening. The search hasn't happened yet. They're waiting to get their ducks in a row
