My name is Mike Schubert. I'm the titular

newest Olympian. I'm a grown man who never read the Percy Jackson books as a kid, but I read them as an adult. And then I did a whole bunch of other stuff. And here we are with an update about this lovely podcast that I hope you're a fan of. This is your first episode, Wild Decision. What's happening in this episode? I'm going to talk about scheduling stuff for the podcast. I'm going to talk about the New Zealand tour, information about the show dates and the chapters we're covering. I'm coming to you right now from Wanaka, New Zealand, the most underrated city on earth. We've done some beautiful hiking. We're taking the baby to a strawberry picking field tomorrow. Going to be great. Everything's lovely. Everyone should come here.

So I'll talk about the New Zealand tour stuff.

And then in general, just what the podcast schedule is going to look like.

So in the immediate in terms of this week, this might be the only thing that I post this week.

If you've been listening to mineral breaks, you will have known that I had an interview with a member of the PGO

production team scheduled to happen a couple of days ago, and something came up on their end,

and we have to push it. So that's still happening. It's just happening later. Because it's

happening later, I'm not sure that I'm going to be able to get that finish completed interview up this week. Maybe I will, but given travels and tour and stuff, I'm not sure that it's possible. So there's a chance that this is the only thing I post this week. But I think that's okay if I mostly have a week off, given that I didn't take a week off in December, and that is a five Monday month, and also

given that I've been posting lots of stuff with the TV show, and I could use just a tiny

little bit of a break. So might not post anything else this week, but in terms of the podcast,

we are going to get back onto our Monday posting schedule starting this coming Monday. So this

coming Monday, we will get back into the

standard coverage of the New Slylampian, where we're going through my journey through the series.

So on February 2nd, we will have our conclusion to our coverage of the Mark of Athena,

which means we're doing our Dr. Moyam Myth Check episode. We recorded that one back in December.

It was lovely. You're going to love the

episode. I learned so much. You might learn a whole bunch. And then on Monday, February 9th,

we will begin our coverage of the House of Hades with a very fun live show where I was
