Hi everyone and welcome to a special edition of Mormon Stories podcast.

It's September 7th, 2022.

Today I'm doing something that I've done multiple times in the history of the Open Stories

Foundation.

It's kind of what I call a transparency update.

I like to be transparent.

As a nonprofit, I like to model that.

A lot of us sometimes have criticized, you know, the church or the organizations for not

being transparent.

And I like to just kind of face things head on when there are changes or when there are

issues.

And so that's what I'm doing tonight is I'm providing you guys with the transparency

update.

I don't think that this is really a big deal.

I don't think most people are going to care, but I'm doing this mostly for donors.

Donors are loyal supporters or just for those who care about the Open Stories Foundation

or Mormon stories and just want to know what's going on.

But please don't think that I think that what I have to say is super important or that

you're going to care.

Just tune in if you care and if you want to know what's going on and if you don't or

if you find this boring, that's great.

I want to start with kind of a difficult and a sensitive conversation.
