I just want to start out by saying thank you teasing every one of you that's reached out to me over the past

I guess four or five days now since I made the announcement that the future of the Oldsau Radio show wasn't looking

the best.

And I'll be completely honest with you when I got the notice from iTunes, I really thought it was kind of a death blow because I've

seen and known of other podcasts that do things similar to what I do that get permission to play music on their

podcast and such from artists that have had to take their shows down. In some cases you know the

shows were took down from them. I've had folks reach out to me this past week

saying that no podcasts that they have hosted on Spotify have been removed without any type of

explanation at all.

When they've reached out to Spotify about that, they just got a generic response. My show has never been on

Spotify but the way I look at it what if it was? I be in the same boat as in probably. Well I talked to some folks in

the music industry that knows a lot about laws and things and the folks I talked to told

me that I probably shouldn't be expecting a response from the RIA about what I've done wrong. In the grand scheme of things,

somebody like me, you know, it's kind of small potatoes, no matter how vital or

meaningful the show is to certain folks, you know, in the grand scheme of things,

it ain't nothing compared to to other things and a lot

of times folks will if they find something that you've done wrong you know it's really

not worth their time since you're not paying

lasting fees or whatever, really to explain things to you. And I really don't

know if, Macias from 30 Tigers didn't get involved.

He knew some folks from the RIA, and he reached out to him and late last night I did finally get a response from them

telling me that there's three songs in question from almost 300 episodes. Three songs. Two of them was the same song.
