Summary

The war in Ukraine has broken out while I've been away on vacation. This is an update for listeners so that you know what to expect from the show in the next couple of weeks.

In the meanwhile, you can follow me on Twitter at @kofinas, where I have been sharing my thoughts on the geopolitical situation, as well as retweeting those of the people I follow in order to stay abreast of events as they evolve.

This is a dangerous time for the world, but especially for the people of Ukraine who have shown incredible courage in the face of an aggressive adversary whose motivations and final objectives remain unclear at this point in time.

0:00.0	What's up everybody? I'm recording this on Saturday, February 26th from a hotel
0:07.6	room in Mexico where I've been on vacation literally since the war broke out
0:12.7	in Ukraine this week. I mean we woke up on our first day here to the news that
0:18.2	the Russian military had basically launched missile attacks across the entire
0:21.5	country. Crazy. I mean there literally are no words I can use to describe the
0:28.0	feelings I have about what's going on in the world right now. And I'm sure that
0:31.7	this applies to many of you as well. So while I'm happy that I'm on vacation part
0:38.9	of me does wish that I could be in the studio recording a conversation with one
0:44.2	of a number of people that I am sure I will be speaking with when I get back in
0:48.8	a week or so. So I just want to let you guys know that to let you guys know what
0:54.3	the situation is on my end and that the next couple of episodes are going to be
0:58.9	on non-geopolitical subjects. But I should have something specifically on
1:04.2	Ukraine by March 10th or the 14th at the very latest. And honestly that might
1:12.0	be for the best because right now there is a lot of misinformation going
1:16.4	around on both sides of this conflict and it's really hard to know what the
1:20.8	situation is on the ground. And how it's going to evolve over the next few
1:24.4	weeks. And the last thing I want to do is share inaccurate information with all
1:29.2	of you. If you want to know what I'm thinking in the meanwhile I'm still able to
1:34.1	use Twitter and I've been sharing my thoughts on there through my handle at
1:38.9	covenus with a K. And I've also been retweeting a lot of really
1:43.2	interesting and thoughtful people who I've relied on to stay abreast of what's
