This is obviously not what you expected in your feed today. Austin and I both felt it was not

appropriate to record our usual Tuesday morning Eckler's Edge episode in light of what took

place on Monday night football. Buffalo Bills defensive back to Mar Hamling collapsed after what

looked like a routine play early in the Bills at Bengals game.

You could see it in the faces of the players that this was a terrifying moment, a different

moment, a public moment of trauma.

Those bills players and staff huddled around and closed off the scene as their teammate

was given life-saving measures on the field.

The bills later tweeted Monday night,

DeMar Hamlin suffered a cardiac arrest following a hit in our game versus the Bengals.

His heartbeat was restored on the field and he was transferred to the UC Medical Center

for further testing and treatment.

He is currently sedated and listed in critical condition.

The Bills and Bengals game was suspended and then eventually postponed.

There is no make-up date set for the game, and the NFL is moving ahead with week 18 games for now.

I have no idea what comes next.

I wouldn't bet on that game ever being played.

I'm not sure it ever needs to be revisited.

I am sure it doesn't matter.

All that matters right now is the health of Damar Hamlin.

Everything else will sort itself out.
