So E.B. and I were both on the over in the Nats-Mets game last night for our picks

that are leading up to who's going to put suntan lotion on ROM at the Starboard in just a few days.

Ain't going to be me.

And unless the over-under for the Nats game was like 24, we're good.

Because there were 23 runs scored in the game last night, including 10 runs in the 12th inning.

11. Yeah, by the Mets. Right.

Well, the nationals continue to make a bunch of errors.

Their defense is atrocious.

I don't know what you do.

I mean, I guess a lot of it is you're stuck with C.J. Abrams, who's kind of a butcher at shortstop.

Well, Brady House ain't great either. Yeah. That's why he was sent down. His part of the reason he was optioned. Last night in the second inning, there was a soft single to write, and James Wood had to, it was kind of spinning away from him, and it went, you know, near the stands. And he comes up and throws it. He didn't even look to where he was throwing. He threw it like 20 feet left of Abrams. Guy advances to 30. He scores on the double next batter, but they had four errors last night. I mean, they're pitching stinks. Pitching's the worst in the league. But you can't have terrible fielding if you got bad pitching. Pitching's the worst in the league, defense worse than league. Lead the entire majors and run scored. It's crazy. I can only imagine you taking Vinny tonight to the Mets game, and if they scored a dozen runs,

how annoying that's going to be.

He's going to be yelling in your ear for eight innings about how great the Mets are.

He's not going to be as close to the players because, like, the two or three other times I've brought him,

we've been right behind home plate, and he's literally talking to them while they're in the on-deck circle. So we're going to be in the first base

side. I think we're the first base side. We'll be a few rows back. Like, I think right behind that dugout. Do you want to crawl in a hole and die when he's talking to the Mets players who are 15 feet away.
